YAYACANADA'S SUNDAY REPORT No. 39 (permalink)

Aug.28/22 -- The week that was ...

Gov't-paid media worst purveyors of falsehood and innuendo

The First Casualty of war is TRUTH, as demonstrated by author Phillip Knightley, who revealed how "governments have become much more adept at managing the media".

When wishing to advance one's own fortunes -- and assuming that the average news junkie is gullible and easily impressed -- bring on an assistant professor hoping for advancement:

GlobalNews: Diagolon: What to know about the group whose founder shook Pierre Poilievre’s hand
  • “It’s not just an innocent podcast. It’s not just irony,” said Amarnath Amarasingam, an assistant professor at Queen’s University and expert on extremism.
  • These podcasters are giving their viewers a new “lens” through which to interpret their struggles, he said – one that paints government as the villain and societal collapse as inevitable.
DIDJA SEE THAT? The second statement carries no quotation marks save on the word "lens". It seems that Global thought Prof. Amarasingam needed some extra words put into his mouth before saying:
  • “The louder that gets, the more people that message resonates with, then you automatically create the potential for one or two of them doing something about it.”

And what does that have to do, specifically, with a group calling itself Diagolon? Nada. This good professor appears to have been speaking generally, not specifically, since most of his work has heretofore involved studies of uprisings in other countries where situations and motivations may well have been quite different.

In fact, Global freely admits:
  • The Canadian government has not expressed formal concern about Diagolon nor does it list the group as a terrorist entity.

Trudeau pays the media to help carry out the dirty work. In this case, the entire aim was simply to make Conservative Contender Pierre Poilievre appear sinister, based on the company he kept for all of the time it took to shake a hand. (He has the potential to unseat Trudeau in the next election.)

From YYC to Prof. Amarasingam: "Societal collapse" is exactly what the current Canadian government wants. Surely you've heard of "The Great Reset" and its "unique window of opportunity"? One can't possibly "reset" without first dismantling, and one must have handy culprits on which to lay blame.

And, I'm sorry, but you really have no business mentioning "Coutts" if you haven't walked in the shoes of the following seasoned professor on that topic:
  • Rumble: Prof Anthony Hall on Canada’s Truckers Movement & Political Prisoners
  • His Website ...  his Curriculum Vitae
I imagine an aspiring full professor would be leery of even considering the opinions of Prof. Hall and the penance extracted from him for his honesty -- but courage and self-respect go a long way toward gaining public respect in these days of creeping tyranny.  When the excrement finally hits the fan for all to see and smell, to which side will you then cling?

As for Jagmeet Singh's opinion in this matter, he's now NDP in name only, having gone over to the dark side, and most of what he says is just good-old-boy stuff.  But will he succeed in what he kissed up for? Mebbe, mebbe not: National Telegraph

===========================================================================

More Evidence of Deterioration in gov't-controlled media:

GlobalNews: Defence chief got legal advice on military’s role after Emergencies Act invoked:
  • Canada’s defence chief received a legal memo that appears to address questions around the role of the military in aiding law enforcement shortly after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act to clear out the so-called “Freedom Convoy” in February.

Apparently GlobalNews didn't think the quote marks around "Freedom Convoy" had enough sneer in them, so they stuck "so-called" in front of it. Would you feel certain you were getting objective facts if you read those lines? If so, consider that you may be suffering from brain-wash -- a disease far worse than any overstated pestilence.

From Media Bias: [Global News] often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence ... by appeals to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.

Not that "Liberal" has any great meaning nowadays.

===========================================================================

And of course there's the completely addled CBC:

CBC: Libraries in Canada hit by wave of hate, threats, as right-wing groups protest all-age drag events
  • Online campaign backed by groups associated with Freedom Convoy, fuelled by anti-LGBTQ rhetoric

Does the CBC writer even know what "right wing" means?  Does discouraging dissent by harsh threats and heavy-handedness in any way represent "Liberal"?

Does the CBC not even care about children anymore, except as tools in the game of "look how hard we work to earn our government handouts"?  The Liberals are inclusive, alright; we're all in danger of going down with them. (And this is coming from someone who never in her life voted anything but Liberal until she realized there was no longer anything to vote for.)

Like Trudeau himself, the CBC uses self-serving, politically-charged, though not necessarily accurate, language. They're not really even literate anymore. If anybody says anything that contradicts government edicts, out come the old stand-by's -- like "conspiracy theory" and "hate groups".  Their very headline suggests it's okay by them that young, innocent children are encouraged to experience exhibitionistic adult "drag" events -- but would they encourage their own children to be "educated" in this manner?

I personally don't care what people do in their private or social lives; neither should anyone else. But I feel sorry for the lack of personal dignity and the overt exhibitionism these apparently needy ego types reveal. There have always been people who crave the spotlight, but they won't achieve anything of real value by guilting people into gawking at them.

Hollywood would not likely ever hire any of these pathetic library performers, so maybe they should find something more edifying to do besides drawing narcissistic attention to themselves. Who are they trying to convince -- the audience or themselves?

People who are comfortable in their own skin have no need to impress themselves personally on anyone else -- especially children!

Shawn Craft, for example, sets a terrible example for children by his gross obesity, for which there is a cure, even if not for his other proclivities. Drag performers Jessika Rabid and Farrah Nuff also set bad examples, displaying deep psychological problems evidenced by excess weight and conspicuous self-mutilation.

I'd sure like to know why libraries have been allowed to morph into low-grade, amateur theatre. Their job traditionally has been simply to stock and lend books; not to actively influence society.

====================

Conspiracy theories and also Conspiracy theories ....

More evidence of the poor mental and moral state of CBC reporters:

CBC: Quebec's Conservative party surges in the polls as some of its candidates spread conspiracy theories
  • Of the first 54 candidates the party has announced, nearly 30 per cent have used their social media accounts during the pandemic to amplify medical misinformation, conspiracy theorists [sic] or to engage with far-right extremists, a CBC News investigation has found.

Obviously the CBC is trying to function with a seriously diminished vocabulary!  All it has in its counter-repertoire are worn-out, slanderous catch-terms. Pathetic to call themselves a "news" outlet. They're more like "Please sir, may I have some more?"

Sadly, that's not the full extent of the charade:

CBC: Canada's convoy movement waved the Dutch flag. Then conspiracy theories swirled about fertilizer and bugs
  • Far-right media, conservative politicians stoking misinformation about an early plan to cut emissions
  • ...the convoy movement's embrace of the Dutch farmers' cause has been fed by misinformation and deliberate attempts to sow confusion about government policies in Canada and the Netherlands.
  • ... far-right media outlets in Canada seized on the Dutch protests to promote conspiracy theories that reinforced anti-government ideologies. Many of these sites had already been sowing misinformation about food-supply issues.

YYC: Wow, they want their government money big-time! They really can't afford to have Trudeau lose the next election ...

  • ... a Conservative MP who has been criticized in the past for spreading conspiracy theories, posted that "Trudeau wants us to eat crickets" while linking to a story about the Dutch farmers' protest.
  • Rebel News, for instance, claimed the Dutch government had "pandered to the radical demands of the World Economic Forum," echoing a popular conspiracy theory ...
  • At the same time that social media is [that should be "are", so it seems not only have they lost vocabulary, they've even forgotten the grammar they were taught in grade school] flooded with misinformation about Canada's agricultural policy ...
  • The amount of misinformation circulating about fertilizer policy "hurts and prevents this moving forward in a positive direction" ...
  • "Part of this [misinformation] is being driven by the lack of detail ...

It's like a tic. They can't stop repeating themselves -- while offering no verifiable proof whatsoever.

The worst is in the final line:

  • "The far-right sees that as an opportunity to spread their anti-democratic narrative."

For pete's sake -- if the Trudeau government were "democratic" would there even be this uproar?

I've never been "far right" in my life. But if you think the Trudeau Liberal Party swings to the "left" you've got another think coming. Robbing people of freedom is not, in any way, a feature of "Liberalism". The Trudeau government is an imposter, crying "Liberal" while seeking to restrict anyone and anything that might foil the plans of the World Economic Forum. (Board of Trustee member: Chrystia Freeland; Agenda Contributor Justin Trudeau.)

The CBC is embarrassingly pathetic in its maniacal grovelling to what amounts to a dictatorship.

===========================================================================

More dirty stuff on behalf of Trudeau's future plans.

The Star: Jeremy Mackenzie, whose extremist group [Diagolon] has been tied to charges laid during the border blockade in Coutts, Alta., is now the subject of a Saskatchewan-wide warrant over a November incident, RCMP said.  [They don't even bother say what year!]
  • The founder of Diagolon, a violent extremist group, [show us an example, eh?] is facing assault and weapons charges in Saskatchewan, according to the RCMP.

Run like the wind, Jeremy. November was a long time ago, but Trudeau is desperate to smear Poilievre and he wants to use you to do it. As if it isn't bad enough what's been done to Tamara Lich on his behalf.

Good grief, aren't the RCMP in deep enough doo-doo with the Nova Scotia weapons controversy?

Hey Yaya
something is still going on with the blog- weird bandwidth consumption- I'm monitoring it and the service provider is helping me out

...and the book mentioned by Gary - "confessions of a medical heretic" looks very interesting- I got a copy and have skimmed through it- clearly the problem of medical malfeasance is an old one and a well documented one, though also well hidden

I have to finish the Bechampe/Pasteur book- going to pass the Robert Kennedy book on to my sister to read

I'm interested In "Confessions of a Medical Heretic" too. It was written within a few years of me quitting forever x-ray technology. (I was having doubts and now I live with some regrets.) So many times over the decades since then I've wondered why is it that modern medicine has so many painful and potentially harmful "solutions" to health problems (radiation, chemotherapy, toxic pharmaceuticals, etc.)? Knowing the history (now) of the Rockefeller takeover of western medicine it seems to be driven by money rather than philanthropy.

Rockefeller Foundation established 1913
Income Tax Act 1913
Federal Reserve Act 1913
Woodrow Wilson became President in 1913 (led the USA into WW1)

That would have been a good year to eliminate altogether if such things were possible. Woodrow Wilson died age 67 and had regrets about signing the Federal Reserve Act which gave control of banking to the Rothschild cartel. He campaigned against the war but eventually led the country into it anyway. Wonder if he had any regrets about that. John D. Rockefeller died age 97 perhaps because he was under homeopathic care the latter part of his life. Yet he funded the advancement of allopathic over homeopathic medicine.
