"White", European and Godly

"White", European and Godly:

The self-appointed rulers of the globe.

Looks like the CBC is bowing to the current butterer of its bread: reporting that Trudeau "reached out" (god, I dislike that phony, mindless, corporate affectation that anyone striving to appear to be someone has adopted) to Cuba to try to resolve the Venezuela problem.

Those whom the media would bamboozle must first be rendered slack-jawed. That way, all they have to do is put out a flat-footed headline with very little of an actual story behind it.

The Trudeau government should be ashamed of its seminal role in the coup, let alone of implying anything other than looking for a way to get Guaido fully installed and Maduro kicked out for good.

Guaido is so patently an Obama knock-off that it's clear minds are being cynically messed with: "white" enough for the wealthy of Venezuela to accept, "brown" enough for the average barrio resident to possibly feel safe with, and malleable enough for the US to program.

But look at the crowd in the above photo, supposedly to show Guaido has the support of the people. I've seen tons more people than that at Parliament Hill against the war in Iraq (and we all know how effective that was). The pro-Chavez/Maduro millions, of course, will not be televised.

If Trudeau wants to be re-elected, he needs to pay more attention to his own country. There are more and more "white" people running around in copy-cat vests, screaming about immigration, the Christians among them also campaigning against abortion while inexplicably closing their eyes against images of traumatized and slain "brown" children in places where some of their own young offspring are serving militarily. And don't get them started on how God hates sexual "deviants".

Politicians of every stripe stand ready to make use of this kind of uproar for their own personal objectives, and Trudeau busies himself with trying to help ensconce a usurper in Venezuela.

GlobalNews: Maxime Bernier mingles with Yellow Vest protesters at Toronto event
  • [He] talked about his plan to limit immigration in an interview with two members of the controversial Yellow Vest movement on Thursday.
  • In Canada, the Yellow Vest movement is a loose network of people who promote a general sense of anger toward the Liberal government, and a range of other views from pro-oil to anti-immigration sentiments.
  • Yes, but how big is the movement?  A better question might be: in Canada, is it a religious Right movement?

How is that a better question?  It's pretty much a given that the anti's are ordained and led by God according to their divine right, as "white", to dominate the whole world because, well, they are not only Right, they are right, right?  And here's the mind-blowingest statement of all:
  • “We have no information in regards to the Yellow Vest movement,” the [RCMP] spokesperson wrote in an email.

Makes you wonder how the RCMP earns its pay. It knows nothing about thousands of missing Native women either, nor does it even keep a list of missing persons.

Well, the "True Canadians" are certainly happy to tell you who they are:

RiseCanada: "Defending the Rights of all True Canadians"

"MEET OUR SENIOR ADVISORS", their website says:

But there's just one:
  • Ron Banerjee is a renowned Hindu leader who is a director with the Canadian Hindu Advocacy. This organization has promoted Hindu interests and values, as well as organized rallies and events against Islamic and Khalistani Sikh terrorism.

This reminds me of something that has occupied a corner space in my mind for some years now -- a comment I heard once, made by someone worried about immigration, at that time specifically the Somalis. She said, "The problem is, they bring their wars with them."

I thought it was just another way of saying we shouldn't admit people of other cultures and colours, but after reading the statement about Ron Banerjee's "rallies and events against Islamic and Khalistani Sikh terrorism", I guess I have to agree that some immigrants do bring their wars with them.

At the time the comment was made, there were media stories about Somali youth gangs in Ottawa causing trouble. There weren't any stories about Canadian kids giving the Somali kids trouble, but it stands to reason the Somali kids might have had reason to be fed up. If they hadn't been Somali they would have been just another youth gang, and I don't think that's beside the point at all.

Interestingly, there's a discussion at Reddit about how the perception of Somali youth gangs is not borne out by actual facts.

I wonder if Ahmed Hussen was one of them; he was 16 when he arrived in Canada and now he's Canada's Minister of Immigration. He was right when he said:
  • "we need to change people's perception of us".
Or perhaps people need to examine their own perceptions. Because racism is born of perception, not reality. Humans are humans. Anyone marginalized, made to feel inferior or out of place, will react in a human fashion regardless of age/race/colour/religion.

But take a look at the history of the conflicts in Somalia that made these families hope for a better life in Canada.  In doing so, I learned a new word "iridenta: a region that is related ethnically or historically to one country but is controlled politically by another. That process is called "iridentism". (From Artha)

NewWorldEncyclopedia:
  • When the European colonial powers met to divide Africa among themselves, the area now known as Somalia was divided between the British, the Italians, and the French. During World War II, Italian Somalia was combined with Ethiopia within Italian East Africa. Italy briefly occupied British Somaliland in 1940, but a year later the British had occupied Italy's territory. After the war, Italy continued to administer Italian Somalia under a United Nations mandate until internal autonomy was granted in 1956. In 1960, the British and Italian territories both became independent and merged as the United Republic of Somalia. The French territory became independent as Djibouti in 1977.
  • Independent Somalia had to integrate two territories that had been governed by different colonial powers. This meant that two different legal systems were in place and two different colonial languages were used for official business, with Somalis in the one of the two former colonies unfamiliar with the languages of the other. Somalis themselves, though, speak a common language.

Okay, that's your basic Somalia, and why so many of them wanted to find a life in a peaceful country, but then found themselves shoved around all over again - because they were not "European", as a rising number of Canadians believe constitutes the real Canada.

That's the story now of the whole Middle East, where "white" "Christian" countries are, as usual, attempting to call the shots, while looking ahead to exploiting Africa all over again.  (Gaddafi's unthinkably horrific death, and the obscene destruction of Libya, was a prelude to what is envisioned for Africa.)

Here's an interesting question:

Serendipity: The American Drive for World Domination
  • And what if the U.S. warmongers achieve their aims of gaining control of all sources of oil in Asia (and the Middle East and North Africa), and of the mineral wealth of Central Asia?  Will the Europeans, Japanese and Chinese feel secure in the knowledge that the United States will surely sell them whatever they need to maintain their industrial economies — and their military capabilities?  (The Russian and Chinese leaders surely understand the long-term threat to their national sovereignty, and are acting accordingly.)

Christian European countries always frame others as the troublemakers, but guess who Canadians of European ancestry are blaming for the immigration of unwanteds to Canada: why the Trudeau dynasty of course, thoroughly Christian, thoroughly "white", thoroughly European, but thoroughly convinced that a melting pot is the answer to discord.

In other words, a red flag for a Right-wing Yellow Vester.

Pierre Trudeau thought that Canada should be a melting pot, where people of many languages, religions and colours would live together in peace, delighting in differences rather than despising them, while knowing full well that even a majority of Quebec French are biased against anyone of any faith/colour other than Christian-European, and are showing that in their recent legislation.

We saw in the FLQ crisis, the lengths to which Pierre Trudeau was willing to go to achieve his personal dream of "peace" and unity in Canada. He used Canada's military to ruthlessly toss hundreds of people into jail just for being associated with the FLQ, and he was kept in power for a long time, presumably because of so many Anglo voters living in Quebec who wanted to remain citizens of Canada rather than the State of Quebec.

If you prefer the "man in the street" version of the FLQ, here it is (pardon their "french").

And don't get me started on the utter arrogance of his attempted abolishment of the "Indian Act", which, even though outdated and clumsy, was still a nod at compensation for the fact that Christian Europeans overran the Native population in order to build the "true north strong and free".

I haven't yet read his book (free online) "The New Treason of the Intellectuals", but it is probably worth doing so, since the younger Trudeau appears to adhere to his father's philosophy, and he may get re-elected, if only out of a greater dread of the alternatives.

Pierre Trudeau was so adamant that Canada's first peoples should be integrated into the general population that even though the Indian Act was a thorn in their sides, it seemed safer than being treated as ordinary Canadians who don't have a history of being trod upon by "white" Europeans.

I can't help wondering if the fact that so many Native communities still don't have clean drinking water may have something to do with their refusal to accept the radical conditions the elder Trudeau was ready to foist upon them.

From Indigenous Foundations: As Harold Cardinal explained in 1969,
  • We do not want the Indian Act retained because it is a good piece of legislation. It isn’t. It is discriminatory from start to finish. But it is a lever in our hands and an embarrassment to the government, as it should be. No just society and no society with even pretensions to being just can long tolerate such a piece of legislation, but we would rather continue to live in bondage under the inequitable Indian Act than surrender our sacred rights. Any time the government wants to honour its obligations to us we are more than happy to help devise new Indian legislation.

In a nutshell, that's why Jody Wilson-Raybould could not in good conscience administer the First Nations portfolio as it now stands.

Is the younger Trudeau inclined to be less heavy handed?  All of his promises to Canada's native peoples seem to be dependent on his being re-elected. But something that needs to be remembered is this: not all Native Peoples think alike. Some are actually evangelical Christians and that influences their choices. Others adhere to traditional Native practices. Working out a suitable arrangement for all is a much more delicate task than the elder Trudeau appeared willing to acknowledge.

It seems clear that Justin relies heavily on certain Quebeckers to help keep him where he is now, hence his near-sightedness when it comes to SNC-Lavalin.  He is campaigning ad nauseum on "climate change" and "growing the economy", which sounds suspiciously like "climate change" is the money-maker corporations are going for.

But it remains to be seen whether or not the Conservatives will simply focus on the sins of the Trudeau government and/or attempt to woo the radical Right away from Maxime Bernier.

I personally would never campaign against immigration, especially as long as the West is displacing people through wars of attrition, leaving them with no choice but to head for what they hope is higher ground. But the more things change, the more they seem to resemble the dark ages.

Below Image from ChurchandState:
  • This is an article by Chris Hedges that no major publication would print." Dr. James Luther Adams, my ethics professor at Harvard Divinity School, told us that when we were his age, he was then close to 80, we would all be fighting the “Christian fascists."
