Where is Sergei Skripal?

Is there a witness protection program for spies who recover mysteriously from deadly nerve agents?

It appears I'm not the only one wondering ...

From Strategic Culture Foundation:​

• The creator of Novichok said if exposed to it you either die a painful slow death or if you do miraculously survive you will be a vegetable the rest of your life. So how come Yulia Skripal is up and singing and dancing and checking herself out of the hospital? And what about Sergei Skripal? I've lost track? Is he still in intensive care in the hospital? Or has he been able to miraculously recover and check himself out?

How did the CBC get hold of this information?

That was April 8. I've so far been unable to find the Sunday Times source for this item, but if you Google the headline, you'll find Reuters, The Times of India, The Sidney Morning Herald, The New York Post, Metro UK, and so on ...

It seems, actually, to have begun with Reuters on April 7 quoting an "unidentifed" source.

But the Guardian, on April 10, cagily says this:

• It would be doubly embarrassing if he was to be attacked again in the UK. But such a negotiation about resettlement seems unlikely to be conducted directly between UK and US intelligence agencies.
• In the end, it will be up to the Skripals where they want to live.

It's definitely unlikely that direct negotiations would be carried out. Especially if it wasn't a nerve agent at all that the Skripals suffered from. It would have been arranged in advance by the same underground that dreamed up this fantastical scenario in the first place.

Already these two people seem to have become like socks that mysteriously go missing on laundry day.
