This is the Summer of Our Discontent

In Ontario, at least.

If the rumours hold up, there's soon going to be a federal election, and there may still be time to organize a "Target" party. I'm a target myself, but, so far, it's no party. 

The provincial gummint just can't let go of its "Covid" power. It still wants me to stay home alone unless I need food or medicine; it still wants me to wear a mask; to count up to 20 (not 19, not 21) numerous times a day; to accept a very iffy vaccine; to spill all in an invasive yet mandatory census -- and be grateful for everything that lifelong Canadian citizenship demands (of late) -- despite various stated and implied threats -- AND to re-elect the current Big Boss (which in Trudeau's case, is actually George Soros via Chrystia Freeland).

Re the Census: here's a conundrum: Nobody likes doing the census -- it's too invasive but we're threatened with consequences should we not obey.  StatsCan employees hound people with repeated threatening notices and phone calls, and pays other people to go around banging on doors to insist upon obedience and then -- get this --  will not provide citizens with the actual census form unless they personally request it!  Is that "mental" or what?

Who in their right mind wants to request something they don't want?

Now with regard to the above photo: I didn't want it to come across as cynical; quite the contrary; I love that photo! But it does suggest to me that animals may have far more reason to trust one another than humans do. Especially when political language is used more often to obfuscate than communicate, whereas with animals, what you see is what you can count on getting.

Life itself has always been a gamble. For years I gambled on the Liberals but clearly lost the bet. Now whole populations have been compelled to gamble with their very lives, even those of their children!

Compulsive Gambling is a recognized psychiatric ailment, and it's been freely admitted that none of what society has come to could have been accomplished without the guidance and aid of the psychiatric profession. PubMed

All with encouragement from politicians, which, by definition, connotes lying manipulators.

• While much of Canada is evolving its response to COVID-19 and reopening society, Ontario is in a perpetual state of fear.

I thank whatever gods there be that I still have marbles enough to know that I would never vote for the likes of a Doug Ford or an Erin O'Toole; but this means I can no longer vote at all, not provincially nor federally.  The smaller parties have sunk into disarray, and/or pinning their hopes on "climate change", while I have enough to contend with -- being an aged target for the "vaccine", as they like to call it, though it's really an RNA replicator being tested on a population made fearful and threatened with more restrictions, thereby rendered willing.

It hardly matters what name it's given; it's a flu variant. How many times does this have to be said? The flu comes every year when there's reduced sunlight, and it changes its tactics every year as the population develops its own natural immunity to the current version. There's a reason why we shouldn't mess with Mother Nature, and we're going to find out why as this damnable experiment progresses.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not so much afraid of dying from the vaccine as I am of having to live with myself afterwards.

I certainly am not charmed by Trudeau's announced gift of $500. to seniors. (I'm just a blogger, not the CBC.) Justin saw how easy it was to buy off direct criticism from the media, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can induce a strong vote for himself from seniors. At least, not in my case, and I know of others.

It certainly won't help erase the distaste that the younger generation already has for "useless", "smelly" old people (teenager's sox aren't smelly?) but if all seniors refrained from voting Liberal, it might take some of the sting out of this:

I plan to donate Trudeau's bribe to a local Youth Program -- not to buy favour or extra time, since the powers that be have, no doubt, already been apprised of acceptable ways to kill off the aged -- and with acceptable reasons, given some of the prevailing theories.

For instance, as with cattle and other livestock, old people's farts (read: methane) are damaging the environment -- or at least that's what's being taught nowadays --

• Though it is less prevalent in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide, it is, by unit, the most destructive of the greenhouse gases.

-- but killing off farting livestock takes food out of mouths, while killing off farting old folks, which, (doctors warn) worsens with advancing age, could be the magic solution.

But not until AFTER the election, eh?

TorSun: Trudeau Doesn't Deserve Another Chance to Continue to Govern

• Could it happen?
• Absolutely, and Warren Kinsella is arguing that it will happen because voters won’t hold Trudeau to account for his scandals or his botched handling of the pandemic early on. With restrictions behind them and vaccines in their arms, Kinsella argues that Trudeau will be rewarded by people who don’t care about his record and are just happy to be moving on.

I'm guessing the "happy" won't last very long since reasons can always be found to bring on more restrictions. If not a virus, climate. If not climate, a terrorist threat. Maybe all three? Why not, eh?

But, first things first ...
