FreeGame: Corpse Box Racers
The Great Covid Box Race It's all the rage in the age of the race for a vaccine From FreeGame: ... one of the great features ... is also the rag doll physics that happen when your corpse falls out of its box and bounces around, but the real fun here comes with playing this with a couple of friends and trying to be the first to the finish line (tip try to take the corners without falling out of your cardboard box) whilst playing as dirty as possible to make sure that your friends don’t get there before you. Sound eerily familiar? No? It surely ought to. CTV: At least 19 countries already have programs in place that compensate individuals injured by vaccines, but Canada does not.
One must keep in mind that the "race" for a vaccine actually has less to do with a concern for the health of populations than with the stock market value of the vaccine. Even a high school science class should know that a virus mutates pretty much every flu season, so vaccines are out-of-date almost at the moment they are created. Because of the need for speed, the results can be iffy at best, and dangerous to one's overall health at worst. Take a look at the American priorities list (below text). Wonder why the elderly are now low on the list of priorities? Maybe because nobody wants another nursing home fiasco? Do you recall that most of the Canadian nursing home victims had received mandatory flu shots prior to "Covid"? Now: Read about how even a regular flu shot can actually weaken one's entire system: Canada.ca: Systemic reactions common to adults 60 years and older who receive influenza vaccines include headache, malaise, myalgia, fatigue, arthralgia, and fever. Since, in Canada, there's no compensation for vaccine injury, and vaccine orders are contracted for and presumably paid for in advance by our government, then people who actually choose to be vaccinated should probably be required to sign a waiver of indemnity before being jabbed. But that might make a person think twice about being vaccinated. And we don't want that, do we? No, we're not supposed to think once, let alone twice. But, heck, you have to sign a consent form at the dentist's office before having a tooth implant! And that's a far safer prospect than a flu vaccine. Of course, unlike dental implants, if the vaccine is made mandatory for all, that's a whole nother kettle of fish. It's called totalitarianism. From Artha: totalitarianism ~ noun rare 1. a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.) 2. the principle of complete and unrestricted power in government Mandatory masks are a prime indication of creeping totalitarianism. If someone tries to tell you they are wearing a mask to protect you from Covert, let them off the hook by telling them you are willing to die for their freedom from the tyranny of masks. And that's when you'll see totalitarianism in action, because they secretly already know they are merely trying to avoid a huge fine. Sing all the anthems you like about the "true north strong and free"; it ain't going to keep it so as long as people succumb to what my blogger friend "Penny" calls Fear Porn. For the first time in a couple and half decades, I am actually looking to the medical profession to help heal my life. If the Covert restrictions go on for several years, as Canada's Dr. Tam is predicting (oh, let's face it, as she's being ordered to predict), I will not want to be here. If you checked that link to Dr. Tam, you'll see that the headline implies she's quoting "top doctors". But if you look below the photo, she's quoting that creep Fauci, while Canada's "top doctors" are mere yes people. In fact I am relieved to see that people over 65 will not be anywhere near the first to be vaccinated if and when some semblance of a vaccine is foisted on society. But the thought of having to brave the formidable and scarily incognito mask wearers for several more years -- as I emerge bare-faced once a week from isolation in order to buy food -- is literally killing me bit by bit. It's like the Dylan Thomas poem about the dying of the light. One can literally sense lights going out one by one, but I'm not yet ready to go "gentle into that good night". I'm raging at the moment. For a lot of reasons. This my home town. I grew up here. I contributed as a volunteer to a number of its services to the local population including City Council committees, and training in literacy and in the English language for newcomers. I was gainfully employed in one part-time/fulltime job or another since the age of 13 until 68. I paid taxes and contributed to the Canada Pension Plan since its inception. I do not receive any subsidy from the City to help pay my rent (though am grateful that the building in which I reside is owned by a non-profit corporation). I have not used my OHIP card in 25 years save for an occasional eye exam, so have not been in any way a drain on the Province. In fact I have never been any kind of drain on society, unless you count the Old Age Pension as a kind of welfare. Trust me, you won't when you become eligible for it. I certainly don't think I deserved, last week, to be forced out of Dollarama, where I had shopped for years, by a short but burly, surly young security guard all dressed in black, wearing a padded vest and a black mask, thoroughly enjoying his power, despite not having properly studied the Public Health rules regarding the elderly and masks. I spritz; I distance. What more does anyone in a store really need of me? To be gasping for air behind an obligatory mask? I don't think so. I actually don't mind the thought of dying at the appropriate time for me; it's living life in a hostile environment and being forced into seclusion that is slowly suffocating not just me, but countless otherwise reasonably healthy old folk. I can't enter my bank; I can't enter the library or a book store; I can't wait in line at the post office, I can't visit the dentist or get my vision checked ... the list goes on and on... unless I'm willing to breathe my own effluence and marinate in my own "droplets". With everyone formerly close to me having exited this life ahead of me, and so now being unavailable for the "phone chats" highly recommended by ditzy airheads on how to survive isolation, my computer has become my lifeline, and all you have to do is look at what's reportedly happening to youth to know that this in no way constitutes a real life style. Meanwhile parliament sits maskless (and every one of the major politicos has broken the rules in their private life and forgiven themselves for it). Does that not tell people about how cynical, arrogant and elitist these rules really are? And how NOT dangerous the "novel" virus is really believed to be by the people enforcing the rules? Despite my long and happy escape from medical interference with my body, and since the truth-telling of so many scientists and epidemiologists are largely being ignored by the power structure, I'm now placing my hopes in the emerging White Coat protests to somehow rescue my entire existence. From Marktaliano.net:
Unless and until these courageous people succeed in getting across their message, we are stuck with a bunch of turkeys racing against a horse's a##. You know their names. ===========================================================================

I don't even know what my political stripe is anymore, James, but I do appreciate Galati and Hillier and others like them. I also appreciate your interest and comments. I started blogging solely as a means of expression, but it's nice to know there are kindred spirits reading what I write.

Yeah, I figured if you went to see your mom, you'd have to wear one. Do you get a sense of panic when you put it on? I tried it and could feel my blood pressure start to go up.

Yeah, that's what I figured - that it would make the visit frustrating for both of you. So sad. Leave a Reply. |
