Scheer bedlam has broken out in the House of Commons over Christmas gifts exchanged by PM Justin Trudeau and family friend, the Aga Khan.
I, for one, am grateful for the distraction from the Facebook personality scrapes. And it's nice to see Andy smiling again.
What a cool way for the Cons to move away from the very expensive (to the taxpayer) Parliamentary marathon that Scheer had hoped would force Justin to say "uncle" and admit to who-knows-wut concerning the Atwal matter.
Scheer had craftily offered the Liberals a way out, hoping it would get himself out of having to follow through on his impetuous threat:

Ah well; Atwal starts with an A and Aga is close enough. Talk about your half-Nelson, Scheer got such a hold on Trudeau he had to sort of fess up to ... well ... something.
Crying "uncle", Justin broke his silence and admitted that he had bought the Aga Khan a sweater for Christmas - so THERE - and in return had received an overnight bag.
We'll probably never be told what was in the bag, though it's common for huge cash payoffs to be stuffed into exactly that same sort of satchel. You see it in TV kidnap mysteries all the time.
Well, I've done some checking and here's the bag in question.
The Aga Khan must have some Jack Benny [YouTube] in him.
Note that the description of the bag says that "it can be packed full", so clearly it's no different from any other bag of that kind ... unless packed empty, of course ...
Sorry, what was I saying?
Oh yes: personally, I think that if anyone is guilty of bribery it has to be Justin, not the Aga. Look at the price of the sweater he gave him!
Justin, with brilliant foresight, realized he was setting himself up to be boxed in by the Opposition, but what is one to do when the Christmas spirit takes hold?
Much like leaving behind a suicide note, he couldn't resist expressing some worry in a comment in the Review section of the sweater's webpage, written under the pseudonym "James" (starts with a "J", just like Justin).
If that's not proof of something, then there isn't any at all.
The CBC worries that Trudeau isn't telling what happened to the gifts. Well, you saw the gifts; what do you think happened to them?
