mandatory face masks - THE LAST STRAw

Guardian: Quebec ponders making masks mandatory after banning the veil

Mandatory Face Masks - The Last Straw

Kingston Ontario's so-called "public health" officials make face masks mandatory on penalty of $5,000.00 fine. Link

The fine is applicable for each and every time a person flouts the mandate!

I
couldn't grocery shop today because Kingstonians can no longer enter a store without a face mask. A mask-wearing woman on the street, seeing my ire, said, "It's okay if you don't have a mask, ma'am; the store will give you one."

"I don't want one", I replied. "And if you keep wearing yours you may end up with pulmonary problems."

"Read up," I said, "Don't just watch TV".

In return, she simply presented to me the typical blank stare of a mask wearer.

Dr. Gerald Evans of Kingston's Health Sciences Centre, stated to a Whig-Standard reporter that Covid does not transfer easily from one person to another, and that masks are a political tool.

See YYC: Another Covid Bench Mark

He is only one of a growing group of international experts who decry the whole lock-down process as useless and undemocratic.  See my side panel for links to eye-opening information.

In my pique, I decided to give the local public health officials a piece of my mind. In my opinion, their motto "50 Years of Public Health" has gone down the tubes.

Here's the text of my email message:

  • You have made it impossible for me to enter a store where I can buy food, despite the fact that masks have been proven to be ineffective and in fact potentially dangerous to the pulmonary system.  And you probably call this a "democracy".
  • More people die from all sorts of other causes, and people are still allowed to smoke, drive vehicles, and live lifestyles conducive to cancer.
  • I'm 80 years old, I have never had flu, and I have never had a vaccine (does that latter statement tell you anything at all?).  I have been doing my own grocery shopping until today, when I am no longer allowed in a store without a mask.
  • I am so fed up with the way this so-called "pandemic" has been handled and totally misrepresented and misconstrued that I will die before I will dignify this farce. Yeah, one less old person kicked off this earth by lousy treatment.
  • Of course there are a few more cases - not even 'CASES' but people  merely testing positive. They are not sick, they are not in hospital, they probably now have immunity, of which you want to deprive the rest of the population.
  • For God's sake, do your own research; read what Canadian and international epidemiologists are saying.
  • This whole lockdown farce has driven some people out of their minds.  Ever since the lockdown, the woman in the apt. upstairs from me keeps banging on the walls and floors at all hours of the day and night, from tension, I assume, or else she's been driven crazy by the lockdown. I could tell her to stop it so that I can sleep at night, but if she really has gone crazy, I'm not going to be very effective, am I?
  • Trust me, when all this subsides, nobody's going to look back on it as our most courageous hour, especially among our so-called leaders who themselves, Ford, Trudeau, Scheer, May and others, have not followed the same rules they expect us to.
  • When a community organization can threaten a $5000 fine for not wearing an iffy mask, something very serious has gone wrong with the world, and I hope I leave it soon.  You all should be embarrassed at your lack of discernment and courage.
  • In the meantime, I've been wanting to lose weight anyway.

The lockdowns have caused immeasurable and irreparable damage around the world, and all so that a Bill Gates-driven money pot can grow even larger from forced government purchases of a vaccine that may actually do more harm than good.

Gates has made it clear that he wants to see population reduction. How much more blatant does he have to be before people realize they've been had?

Here's a "leader" nobody seems to be listening to.

Hi Yaya:

Hubby and I were both sorry to know this is being inflicted upon you.

Notice that about the mask wearers?
That's the 'deer in the headlights' look.
They all got it.

https://www.aptoglobal.com/deer-in-the-headlights/

I was at the grocery store the other day and still most are not wearing masks- and I was friendly to mask wearers and non mask wearers and managed to have a positive experience.
No yelling. No nothing.
I even handed an item to a woman who was wearing a mask- she asked. I assisted. No problem.

She's upset because her daughter lives "across the river" as we say in Niagara (Niagara River) and she hasn't seen her- though she used to see her every three weeks

She misses her daughter-

I just put up a video interview Del Bigtree and Denis Rancourt- worth listening to

Thanks Penny. I've downloaded the video to watch later.

These dolts have no frickin idea the harm they are causing with this lockdown, and they don't care. Either we have demons or pathetic cowards running our personal affairs for us, and I don't care which - they are out of the minds!

It will be interesting to see what kind of answer I receive -- if I receive an answer.

I could choose to plead some sort of illness that precludes my wearing a mask, but I don't want to be a liar or a manipulator like these so-called officials.

Thanks, and tell your husband thanks for me, for your sympathy. Coming from you guys and what this whole fiasco has cost you, it means a lot.

So sorry Yaya. What dolts they are and I believe it's deliberate doltishness. Their novel "plague", with its magical morphing symptoms and no way to definitively detect the particular virus alleged to be its cause, is dying out, so just to make sure they get their "second wave" of illness they are making people wear masks which can actually lower their immunity to all infections. Their immunity has already been compromised by the stress of lockdown. That's double trouble.

As honourable doctors have been trying to tell us, in order to maintain a strong immune system, it must be challenged regularly with exposure to the community pool of germs. The California doctor (Erikson) said, in essence, that he trusted the brilliant design of the human body to identify and defend itself from harmful organisms and substances.

This mask mandate should be challenged in a court of law but sadly I no longer trust the Canadian judicial system which more often than not walks in lockstep with government and corporate interests. Besides, courts move at a snail's pace (6 years and counting in one case I have a particular interest in) so even if a favourable verdict could be attained, the harm would already be done. Political pressure is the way to go -- like your great e-mail, Yaya.

As Max Igan has pointed out many times in his videos, they have no moral right to make the majority of people wear a mask to purportedly protect a minority, especially since it can be harmful to their own health. If/when people do have faulty immune systems it's up to them to find ways to protect themselves or, better yet, to do whatever will help their immune systems function better.

Oh, the crow guy! I"m gonna watch his two latest videos. Thanks for reminding me.

I'm going to have to live one day at a time from now on, I guess. No planning; just coping. There isn't any place I can go now, not to the dentist, not even for my weekly afternoon chat visit with my pharmacist. I doubt I can even go to the Post Office. I know I can't go to the bank, but at least the ATM is accessible. Or is it? It's got a door on it, but who cleans the air in there when I leave? It feels really weird, but we'll see how it goes.

I won't starve for a while, but I'm going to really miss bananas and I've nearly run out of rice milk. I can't let anybody do my shopping for me, and I can't shop online even if I did still have a credit card, because my protest is that I should be able to shop as I've always done - maskless and distancing.

I live near water. Maybe I could go fishing. LOL

Alberta doctors have been calling for mandatory masking but so far the premier is backing away from legislation to force us to wear them. It does feel like they are trying very hard to back us into a corner, doesn't it? Right now there are only 43 covid patients in the hospitals in the province and only 8 of those are in ICUs. Only 5 deaths in half a month. That really doesn't warrant mass mask wearing of the general public, in my opinion, but the drumbeat for submission is relentless.

It looks like we'll be losing our local greenhouse (along with several other local businesses) and when this family took over several years ago they did such a great job of rejuvenating the greenhouse operation, including a brilliant and profitable idea to hold weddings amid their beautiful flowers and the canope of a very large indoor grape vine. Where will they find a buyer in this economic chaos I wonder? Nobody in the covid crisis business seems to care that so many small businesses are falling by the wayside. It's all about breathing through a mask to them; not trying to breathe life back into our failing economy.

It seems that the push for masks always comes from a non-governmental source. And I can't help wondering what's in it for them. It takes the heat off the PM or Premier while at the same time making it seem necessary. There's certainly a lot of mask and ventilator production going on (Ford Motor Co. GM, etc.), therefore lots of money being made from it, stock going up, investments paying off.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ford+masks&atb=v1-1&ia=web

Seems it's crisis that make the fat cats fatter while the other cats get put out of business. When the vaccines have "cured" Covid, then climate change will come to the fore again and Ford, GM will be turning out electric cars.

Manufacturing crisis is good for manufacturing.

Terribly sobering thoughts from Dr. Vernon Coleman. Wish I hadn't watched this as I was about to go to bed. It's taken me back to when my mother died in hospital 25 years ago and I'm not liking one bit the new light he has shed on that memory.

I watched the video and started to cry. For some reason, I suddenly recalled that when I turned my back in disgust and walked away from the Shoppers enforcer she called out, in a very sincere voice, "I'm sorry ma'am."

To keep her job, she has to do something that she doesn't want to do. Do you think maybe the people who looked after your mother did something they didn't want to do?

Dr. Coleman says the "old age" barometer is going to drop as time goes on. I think he's right. Young people have somehow been encouraged to despise the aging population, especially if they have jobs while young people can't find work. Maybe if they get some First Aid training (like those young military kids) they can work in homes for the aged and get some legal revenge?

It was so long ago … a blur of a memory now. BUT I can remember thinking how much I just wanted to take her home but I had no idea how to do that and it would have been impossible for me to manage her care, even if I had been able to get her home. They did appear to be doing things to help her but always something would go wrong in the few hours a day I couldn't be there at the hospital.

That's what the New York City Epicentre nurse said. They did things with no family to see them do it and, knowing she would object, they sent her on an errand before they did it. Likely with barbiturates.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIDsKdeFOmQ

Even if it was just a stupid mistake on some doctor's part, the coroner would state that they died of whatever condition they came in with.

My mother was 94 when she died, early in the morning, with no family there, so it's anybody's guess. But she did live a long life. Your mom died much too young.

** Preventable Medical Error Is CDN Silent Killer
While our hospitals save lives every day, they are also the third leading cause of avoidable death every year. In Canada, medical errors and hospital-acquired infections claim between 30,000 and 60,000 lives annually. Thousands more are injured. But to the public, these incidents are largely invisible.
https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/kathleen-finlay/medical-error-deaths_b_8350324.html

This is what people are so in the dark about: way more people die from the above than from COVID - not to mention car accidents, cancer, etc.

Hello YaYa
I was deeply disturbed and disappointed by the mask wearing order when I read about it this Saturday. I believe we are going through dark times and I have little hope for the future.
However, I often felt alone in my convictions and beliefs and it was comforting to be able to read your blog and it gave me some hope that not everyone out there is taking this issue sitting down.
I also live in Kingston and want you to know that I appreciate you posting this and keeping up the good fight. Consider me a fan and supporter of your work.
James

I agree, James: dark times. The reason I started blogging again was so that I wouldn't be alone with my thoughts.

So please do feel free to comment here anytime. You don't even have to agree on everything ;-)

https://off-guardian.org/2020/06/30/us-gov-website-falsely-inflating-care-home-covid-deaths/

Although it's infuriating that this Off Guardian article shows that numbers have been, let's call it "off the mark", in some places in the US regarding covid in care homes, it's also a relief to learn that not as many elderly residents actually died as they had originally recorded. I would love for this to be the case in Canada too and that we haven't really lost as many elderly Canadians as have been listed. Truth in all numbers PLEASE! Truth in ALL things, because the lies are killing our humanity and attacking our sanity. Last night my mind walked around in so many endless loops trying to make sense of so much that's happening right now that I nearly wore a hole in my brain stem. Such madness!

It's madness alright. But even if 10 nursing home seniors died as result of medical malfeasance, it's a huge crime.

Thanks for the link, though. I'm glad of the info. Hope you have a restful night.

I absolutely agree with your criminality point, Yaya. That's a scandal/travisty that must be investigated and heads must roll. I think Canada has the worst record of all for care home deaths. It's outrageous! I just saw this as an oh thank goodness there weren't as many deaths as the US gov't said there were. That also nibbles away at their inflated mortality rate. I hope you have a restful night too -- no thumps on the ceiling.

She's been quite busy today, so maybe she'll sleep tonight. She's also been compulsively vacuuming lately, every other day. And she drags furniture around a lot.

It's an exercise for me in not losing my temper. So far I'm managing, and surely it can't go on like this forever. Can it? Don't answer that.
