Lockdown Protests in the UK

May 16: Police crack-down on London protests [YouTube]

Lockdown Protests in the UK

Covid-19 no excuse for militarized police and human rights violations.

Spiked May 15: Epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski on deadly consequences of lockdown.
  • ‘We could open up again and forget the whole thing’

Clearly, forgetting is not wanted. But Londoners have been resisting the restrictions loud and clear, coming face to face with the militarized long arm of British law:

Spiked May 9: In London today, the police behaved disgracefully
  • Cops are enforcing the lockdown in a rude, arrogant and heavy-handed way.
  • You heard them before you saw them. It sounded like a platoon of soldiers. The one in charge was barking orders to ‘move forward!’ and then came the trudge of their boots. Scores of them, making military manoeuvres, marching in a long, thin line through one of Britain’s prettiest parks: St James’s Park in London. This was the Metropolitan Police today, enforcing the lockdown, sweeping through parks and streets and issuing the same warning to everyone they came across, from young lovers to dads playing football with their kids to homeless people with nowhere else to go: ‘Move on.’ It’s one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen the police do.
  • Watching them stream through St James’s Park, looking for all the world like a line of soldiers conquering a small town, you’d think they were on their way to confront some serious organised crime.

Videos tell the story:

May 16: UK: Jeremy Corbyn's brother among 19 arrested at [Hyde Park] London anti-lockdown protest YouTube

This fairly indepth video shows the arrest of Piers Corbyn.

Here's another video of the police in action at May 16 protest.

Corbyn was issued a fine at the May 9 protest, (where another gentleman who decried the loss of freedoms said, "We know it's about something else"). Clearly the fine was intended as step one in a planned process. A week later he dared to join the protest again and let himself be interviewed by media, so was swooped down upon again by police and this time hand-cuffed and led away to the paddy wagon.

Londoners are also protesting 5G in this short video.

Note that the police don't bother with masks, nor distancing, obviously, and wear gloves that pick up germs from everybody they touch and transfer them to other people and objects. What's that all about, eh? Not setting a very good example for the plebes.

If and when they do show up wearing masks, and possibly hiding their badges, be very worried because they may well intend serious harm.

In Canada:

Here's what came down at the beginning of the lock-down in my hometown, Kingston ON. Residents were not asked politely by City Council to follow emergency orders, but were instead threatened with police action if they failed to do so.

In Ontario, at least, it seems that City Councils were enabled to pass bylaws to give police more powers to control the behaviour of city residents, not to mention that the public were encouraged to report infractions of social gathering regulations:

Reporting enforceable infractions:
  • On Tuesday evening, City Council passed a bylaw which allows enforcement by Municipal Enforcement Officers and Kingston Police to enforce any emergency orders passed by the City under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.  At this point in time however, no local orders have been issued, and all potential infractions of provincial and federal orders should be reported to the following agencies accordingly.

Yeah, they used people's fear to get them to do the job of public surveillance!

  • Call Kingston Police non-emergency line at 613-549-4660 for:
  • Organized public or social gatherings of more than 5 people
  • Use of outdoor recreational amenities (e.g. basketball court, soccer field, park bench, park picnic table, playground structures)

Submit an online complaint to KFL&A Public Health for:
  • Non-essential businesses that are open
  • Essential businesses that are not compliant
  • Self-isolation for returning travellers, under the Quarantine Act

And, strangely, nobody questioned why, all of a sudden, ordinary, everyday behaviour could get a person in trouble with the cops. So, instead of protesting on behalf of their own constitutional rights being arbitrarily trampled on, Kingstonians took out their frustration by squealing on their neighbours!

(Please take a look at this video in which an American policeman expresses his regret at what is happening.)

It's no wonder that even hack * politicians feel justified in looking down on what Justin Trudeau likes to call "ordinary Canadians'.  And it's strange that the same people who squeal on their neighbours are not expressing rage at Trudeau for violating the very same "health" rules. He "wanted to see" his family, so he did. And that's why he's special and the rest are "ordinary Canadians".

The same kind of good old boys are trying -- again -- to introduce fluoride to Kingston's drinking water!  All over the USA and Canada, and in Europe, fluoride is being discontinued; so it sure looks as if whoever profits from it is putting on some high-pressure sales acts elsewhere!

Can't help wondering what perks have been offered. I was told by a City Councillor that it wouldn't cost much money. But it will cost Kingstonians a pile of money to buy and operate water purifiers and distillers to avoid the downsides of fluoride (not to mention the cost of the supplements they will have to take if they are drinking distilled water).

So, again, health concerns certainly appear to be not about the people, but about the politicians themselves. It's becoming easier and easier to believe that none of this is about the welfare of citizens, but in service to the ultimate centralization of power (and massive reduction of populations) and our politicians are merely lazy-minded strawmen being propped up for purposes of distraction.

All that's required is that they know how to brazen out of any revelation of their own shortcomings. Maybe we do have some honest politicians, but the signs are pointing to the ultimate aims of self-serving strawmen.

* A political hack is a negative term ascribed to a person who is part of the political party apparatus, but whose intentions are more aligned with victory than personal conviction. The term "hired gun" is often used in tandem to further describe the moral bankruptcy of the "hack".

RE: "But it will cost Kingstonians a pile of money to buy and operate water purifiers and distillers to avoid the downsides of fluoride (not to mention the cost of the supplements they will have to take if they are drinking distilled water)."

Well I can attest to the cost of filtering OUT the fluoride. Just spent $100 for this year's filters (we use Berkey water purification). I once spoke to the water treatment manager in town and he said it cost $10,000/year to put fluoride IN our water. What a travisty for a town that struggles financially and will be in even worse shape when covid-closed businesses fail to come back.

Calgary stopped fluoridating their water in 2011 but the fluoridiots are pressing to get it back via a plebiscite in 2021.

I wrote this comment just so I could write "fluoridiots" (a little satisfaction for having to see the term "covidiots" bandied about these days to describe people who simply cross over a social distance line).

Still reading "The Plague". It's a good read.

Hi M.R.

Even if you did only write to say "fluoridiots", I'm glad to see it confirmed that you are not one. Birds of a feather, eh?

I have a distiller but it's getting old, and I thought I wouldn't have to use it anymore (except maybe to make hootch, but I've never figured out how that's done) but I suspect city councils have been offered perks of some kind by an industry that's getting kicked out in a lot of other places. And there's no doubt at all that the Ontario Dental Association is all for it. My dentist, thankfully, tolerates my aversion to it, and the hygienist doesn't even bother to offer me free Colgate's toothpaste anymore when I go for my annual cleaning.

I got the paperback version of The Plague this afternoon. I think I was the first customer since the book store was allowed to open up. I'm really looking forward to reading it again. There's something about the style of Camus' writing that really appeals to me, but I can't define it.

ANSWER: No.

Dentists will never, ever admit to the harm caused by fluoride because the lawsuits could crush them and what a blow to their egos too. I used to be an x-ray tech (many moons ago). I saw calcified pineal glands on skull x-rays, although I did not know back then that fluoride was a factor there. A calcified, deflected from midline, pineal would lead a radiologist to suspect a brain tumor. Truthfully I myself feel some guilt as to what harm x-rays may have done to some of my patients, even though the diagnoses were undoubtably helpful.

I know what you mean about the Dental Association. It does a lot to relieve the guilt of practising dentists. Same goes for Amalgam fillings.

Probably anyone who has worked in the medical field has something they feel guilty about. So STOP it. :-)

I came across an interesting article today about the effect of certain toxins on the degradation of the pineal gland. The toxicity of the 3 main culprits -- fluoride, aluminum, glyphosate -- are said to be amped up my EMF. Our poor souls are caught in a "perfect storm" !!!

https://thefreedomarticles.com/aluminum-fluoride-glyphosate-emf-deliberate-concoction-pineal-gland/

Also, after listening to Kevin Barrett's interview with Dr. Gary Kohls I think the name for your stellar resistance to flu and cold viruses, Yaya, is called muscosal immunity.

Over the years I've learned not to cook with aluminum and to avoid fluoridated water. I don't think any of us can fully avoid glyphosate, but if we're careful with our food, we can probably keep it at a minimum.

I don't use commercial deodorants or toothpaste. I make my own toothpaste from baking soda and tea tree oil, and "Jason" has some nice products.

https://www.jason-personalcare.com/en/products/healthy-mouth-anti-cavity-tartar-control-gel-tea-tree-oil-cinnamon

I try to get plenty of the right vitamins, mostly in food if I can, plus acidophilus and plain Balkan yogurt, and I've been testing out curcumin over the past couple of months. I'm lucky to have a pharmacist who researches all the different brands of supplements for me (including the pro- and contraindications, so that I can make up my own mind which ones to experiment with. I'm pretty sure the curcumin has had a good effect, but I'm going to need more time to be certain. (I tried the highly touted glucosamine and my hair started to fall out -- I kid you not. Apparently that's an acknowledged side effect.) At the very least, the curcumin has helped me to concentrate better and sharpened my memory. I think my eyesight is better for it, as well, and am gradually having less connective tissue pain.

Have always thought there might be a connection between immunity to viruses and the punishment of autoimmune problems, but adopted the mindset that in this strange world we inhabit, if it ain't somethin', it's gonna be somethin' else.

Appreciate your pointing me to Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt. I've downloaded the video and plan to watch it this evening.

Thanks, M.R. That was very thoughtful of you!

Looks like you have a pretty healthy microbiome, thanks to healthy living. Good for you, Yaya. I use a commercial non-fluoride toothpaste but make my own deodorant and yoghurt. We've always cooked with cast iron frypans and used non-aluminum pots. I do keep curcumin around but the size of those capsules puts me off so I don't take nearly enough to be useful I think. Glyphosate is so pervasive in food that they say everyone has it in their bodies. Crap they still spray some Canadian wheat with glyphosate just prior to harvesting but they are getting pushback on that so maybe they will eventually stop (some countries refuse to buy this wheat from us). Since my husband must now limit wheat products in his diet we don't get much wheat exposure but we did for most of our lifetime. Neither of us eat cereal anymore (except every now and then in the winter I'll cook up some Sonny Boy for myself). We can hope we are not doing too little too late but living does not come with a guarantee and accepting that is actually liberating in a way. Ya does what ya can!

Hey Yaya and Rocknest

We use the Berkey filter as well- works great.
And yah, the water tastes better.

Your website is fine Yaya

have to watch D Rancourt talking about masks, which don't work- nor do gloves which I've just published a post about

The rats are a detestable lot! How they actually think what they are doing is okay is beyond me!
These people wouldn't life a finger to help someone in need or report a real crime if they witnessed it, but, they'll tattle tale like little children to the teacher.
sigh..
Also contacted CTV twice regarding false/misleading information in their news reports. Will anything come of it? Who knows, but, at least they know someone is watching them

I have to congratulate you, Penny, for rating out CTV. Somebody has to do it. You're right; they might not clean up their act, but at least they learn they're not fooling all the people all the time.

M.R.

I'm impressed that you make your own yogurt!

I also hear you about the curcumin capsules. I've read that, ideally, curcumin should be taken along with some form of fat and about l/4 tsp of black pepper. So ...

You could empty the capsule and stir it into a dollop of peanut butter - or maybe mashed bananas or veggies? - and add a liberal sprinkling of black pepper.

Worth a try?

My breakfast is a large yog-fruit smoothie ... might see if the taste is still okay with a curcumin capsule emptied into it (not too keen on black pepper in there though). Thanks for the idea. Yoghurt is a 3 day process but I have a yoghurt maker to control the fermenting stage so that's the key. Then it's let it sit in the fridge for at least 12 hours and let it drip for at least 36 hours. Done! Not hard at all.

Note: After 24 hours fermenting this yoghurt is supposed to be pretty much lactose free which would be a plus for anyone who is lactose intolerant (I'm not).

Another note: Found a dragon fruit at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago (first time I'd seen one). The taste is uninspiring but it did give my morning smoothies a nice texture.

I'm lactose intolerant in that I can't drink milk without suffering pain in my stomach (by that I mean my actual stomach, not the gut). But plain yogurt is okay for the reason you mentioned. It's still there, but defanged in some way.

I somehow doubt you will like curcumin in your morning smoothie. Let me know, please.

I had no idea there was such a thing as "dragon fruit".
