The myth of global warming due to CO2 certainly appears to be either a huge mistake or, more likely, a gargantuan put-on by those who want to use it to rule our world.

From Dr. Higgs today August 6, 2019:

Colleagues, here are two pieces of good news suggesting that global cooling (driven by solar downturn) has indeed begun ….

1) The prestigious UAH's global atmospheric temperature graph, updated every month, shows that the 3.5 years of overall cooling since February 2016 is now the longest since the satellite measurements began in 1978 …

Importantly this UAH graph, overseen by the famously scrupulous and unbiased John Christy, is immune from NASA 'manipulation'; and also from the 'urban heat island' effect, whereby ever-growing cities unsurprisingly measure ever-rising city temperatures ('hottest-evah, shock, horror', BBC ad nauseum).

2) This year's Arctic sea ice minimum area (in September) will seemingly again fail to reach as low as the 2012 record low. See the second graph here, updated every 4 or 5 days:

Interestingly the other day I'd seen this science guy, while pushing the carbon cult belief, he was stating that the ice in the Arctic was not going to fall below or even reach this 2012 low--

I would think inadequate housing stock would contribute to an affordable housing shortage
Along with extreme/artificially low interest rates that have driven housing prices beyond the reach of many- not just disabled or minorities- my daughter sure can't afford a home here. as many young persons starting out cannot, but, that's not "climate change" that's a whole host of other issues

Then there are people such as myself who own homes, but, can't afford to move without taking out a giant mortgage, which no one at our age wants- so we stay put.
This is a discussion I've had countless times with long term neighbours- where do we go?

Penny, what would I do without your comments that always seem to add good info to my site.

I noticed a week or so ago there was a sign on the grassy bit beside the sidewalk, next to the road, that said, "We buy houses - any condition." They should have added, "We don't care if there's a housing bubble; we'll make millions from this".

People who sell generally move into apartments - another booming business; they're going up all over the place. But you can't do that - unless you're willing to grow vegetables on your balcony.

As for increasing polar ice, I guess we know now why "global warming" was changed to "climate change" and still blamed it on C02. The world's gone mad; MAD I tell you.

By the way, I still haven't watched the Magnitsky video. Hope to do that this evening.

Haha, I was just thinking that if the White Nationalists really wanted to do something about overpopulation and potential food shortages due to "climate change", they could all just jump off a cliff and, as Scrooge said, "reduce the surface population".

This alleged white nationalist sounds exactly like the media darlings' in extinction rebellion- or any green 'leftist' say from Greenpeace?

Quoting from his manifesto: "“[O]ur lifestyle is destroying the environment of our country. The decimation of the environment is creating a massive burden for future generations. Corporations are heading the destruction of our environment by shamelessly overharvesting resources,”

This manifesto harkens back to the post I had up about how the climate change fear mongering would lead to violence. With a willingness to fight and die global warfare...being a terrific outcome!

You've just inspired me to write a whole post about Ocasio-Cortez.

I watched the Magnitsky video last evening. It was great watching the look on Browder's face gradually change as he began to clue in that he was being seen through. Very well done!
