Denial is healthier than fear

Denial is healthier than fear

Fear can make you sick.

I think I'm finally angry.

Listen up, you so-called royalty, leaders, experts, I wouldn't advise you to poke Joe and Josephine QPublic beyond their endurance. You might get fear and obedience or you might get ultimate revolt, and you won't know which it is until it hits you right in your fancy hat.*

The social distancing/isolation scheme seems to work well for the government because it keeps people from doing naughty things like shutting down railroads while protesting against the imposition of pipelines into their personal space.

House arrest is more aesthetic (and justifiable, apparently) than police arrest (though the underlying threat remains).

But let's get something straight here: in a democracy, the government is not supposed to be your mommy and daddy. The people tell government what they want done; not the other way around where your every activity is surveyed with an eye to control, along with exploitation from massive corporations.

That's called Fascism.  So don't pretend this is a democracy any longer!

I find it hilarious that, when the media can't get a nervous government official to weigh in on a touchy topic, they are reduced to interviewing academic "experts", who are so overjoyed at being consulted they will say just about anything that might get them repeat exposure.

They're kind of pathetic, really.

But this is how tyrants and their supporting media can point to so-called "experts" to support their actions:

NatNewsWatch: Pandemic conspiracy theories test truth, evidence, government, say experts

The very use of the term "conspiracy theories" broadcasts the abysmal bias out front, so the rest is just so much blah, blah, blah -- but go ahead and read it if you don't mind your own intelligence being insulted.

Academics love being called "experts", but don't you believe for a moment that they live in anything at all like the real world.

"You're supposed to stand for something!", cried Al Pacino ("And Justice for All") Video

But look at Jordan Peterson; he stepped into the real world and ended up having to go away for "treatment":

NYPost: Jordan Peterson recovering from tranquilizer addiction in Russia

That man was so antsy all the time that I couldn't bear to look at him as he paced and ranted and -- quite revealingly, from a psychological point of view -- constantly pulled his wedding ring up and down his finger.

He's reportedly "smiling again" (Again? I never saw him smile), but for how long?  He's a psychological mess, drugs or no drugs.

But he's an "expert" on how the rest of us should be, eh?

These "experts" literally "can't handle the truth" (Jack Nicholson - YouTube) of the corruption that exists among those by whom they wish to be favourably recognized.

They really are better off shuffling around a university until put out to pasture, because they lose all rationality when a media spotlight shines on them.

We must also remember that many of these people calling themselves "experts" depend on government grants for what they like to refer to as "research", which is merely a forced activity demanded of them in order to retain their teaching jobs. They are under pressure to make their universities famous for something, or else they are of no use at all.

Yet our lives are governed by their fawning consensus, as in "climate", for instance.

Anything an academic "expert" tells you has, by its very nature, to be taken with a grain of salt because all genuine research is subject to question and revision or it isn't research at all; it's dogma.

There are no experts in true research; only questioners; therefore academics have no business passing judgement on anyone who questions the status quo:
  • Governments closing public and private places, urging physical distancing and requiring travellers to self-isolate for 14 days to slow the spread of COVID-19 would be viewed as state control tactics by those who believe in conspiracy theories, Hodge said.

They ARE state control tactics, you goofball!  The government openly admits it.

No one can be blamed for wondering what has made the difference with Covid-19 since it's far less infectious than the regular flu strains and far fewer people have died from it specifically!

They never tried to protect us from the regular flu -- which infected and slew far more people -- instead they supported the testing of vaccines under the guise of prevention, turning believers into virtual guinea pigs for massive pharmaceutical research corporations.

And the whole, cowardly medical system went along with it, except for the growing few who are retired and/or willing to risk their careers, and that the majority hastened to gang up on in a bid to justify their own sins against humanity.

They don't understand LIFE itself. In death there is always new life. Stamp out a so-called bug, and you pave the way for another, stronger one. Has nobody learned anything at all from the over-use of antibiotics?

Can you imagine any pharmaceutical company sanctioning the nursing of someone through a viral attack, helping them to gain their own immunity -- without attacking their vitals with poisons?  Instead it's the bugs that grow stronger!  And now hospitals are dangerous places to be; just as in the olden days.

One has to consider -- especially with the likes of Bill Gates and his population reduction plans under the guise of protecting people with vaccines -- that the powers that wannabe have gotten themselves in too far over their collective heads and are merely operating as front men -- which is why Trudeau can take a vacation at home during a so-called crisis, without being ill or even being tested -- and act as if he's done us all a favour.

There's no one to vote for anymore.  Is that according to some sort of global plan as well?

Despite so many "experts" the world is in turmoil anyway. That's because people who have no experience in running countries -- a drama teacher? (Trudeau); a journalist? (Freeland) -- give us a break -- nevertheless put themselves forward as leaders because that's what they see when they look in their own mirrors, and they are so glamourized by the corporate media that it isn't until they've seriously goofed up that we even get a glimpse of who they really are.

Trudeau still has his job, though he doesn't deserve it, being PM in name only now, and he hasn't a real worry in the world.  But he helped set in motion a plan that has the possibility of destroying whole families through job loss.

He deserves to be sick; sick of himself and his lily-livered compliance with corporate power. He copped out the minute he made Chrystia Freeland the Minister of Everything. Canada, as we know it now, will pay dearly for that particular prime ministerial cop-out.

People have clued in to what is bona fide protection and what is propaganda through the very hypocrisy and blatant abuse of privilege by so-called leaders, royals and celebrities.

Sophie Trudeau complained of a headache and immediately got tested, when so many others have had to prove they are really sick before they can even be considered. How important can the testing be if the man who lives with her states outright that he himself has not been tested.

A better question might be why is his foot always in his mouth? That's a dangerous disease right there, isn't it?

One has to consider that so much news of the "famous" having tested positive, yet not sick enough to shun the media, waving their bravery like a flag in the faces of their adoring public, may well be simply another means to "prove" that the virus is no respecter of persons -- yet they get priority testing for a mild cough or headache, while their fans have to be scarily ill before the precious test is bestowed upon them.

I betcha the grocery stores are not running out of baloney. Nobody wants it because too many "leaders" are so full of it. But, thanks to the media push to spread panic and mayhem, I've now discovered the Rising Tide Foundation, one of whose founders seems to understand the situation very well:

StrategicCulture: The Art of Gaslighting

Well worth the read, and certainly worth seeing the movie again.

RisingTideFdn: How to Overcome Today’s Crisis: A Lesson from 1933 (F.D. Roosevelt)
  • The new president declared a war on Wall Street on several levels, beginning with his support of the Pecora Commission which sent thousands of bankers to prison, and exposed the criminal activities of the top tier of Wall Street’s power structure who manipulated the depression, buying political offices and pushing a “fascist economic solution for America”. Ferdinand Pecora who ran the commission called out the deep state when he said “this small group of highly placed financiers, controlling the very springs of economic activity, holds more real power than any similar group in the United States.”

The world of medicine is closely linked to the world of what people call "Big Pharma" (some might even think of them as "drug pushers") and, although I do know that medical personnel are being pushed to the limit due to the current insanity, somehow I can't find it within me to feel sorry for their plight.

LATimes: Sick and angry: Some public health officers are showing stress of coronavirus

I realize it can't be easy to be on the front line of diagnostics in a state of public panic, but maybe they should count their blessings; they still have jobs; they're still getting paychecks. Too many of the people they are turning away are in much more precarious situations!

Great piece of your mind, Yaya. And you typed it all with your middle finger -- amazing! You can't hear it but I'm clapping. My dander would be up even more today except we just came back from a 4 mile walk (lovely weather, many people out enjoying it) and my heart is still full of sunshine and the smiles of the people we passed on the walking path. One dark thought went through my brain while we were out there though. I remembered how P.E.T. handed off Canada's future to the worldwide bankster cabal back in 1974. Now pup of P.E.T. is handing off our freedom and livelihoods to the globalist ghouls.

Haha. My middle finger thanks you for the applause, M.R. I felt a bit bad calling the guy a "goofball" but not enough to erase it.

There was rain slamming against my window this afternoon, cold rain, but your heart "full of sunshine and smiles" gave me a lift.

Thanks for the link. Looks very interesting. It's amazing what can be accomplished with a minority gov't.

To whom it may concern:

Went to Food Basics this aft. and they sprayed my hands before allowing me to enter, in case I might infect their products. And watched me like a hawk to make sure I stood on the circle they'd stuck to the floor, and then looked askance at my cash, but took it anyway, because they really want it, eh? And didn't mind putting their hands all over my purchases, and handing me their germ-ridden change.

Young, not terribly bright whippersnappers acting all authoritative with people who've been around thousands more blocks than they have. I wanted to spank them all. But I paid and got myself out of there and home to a small bit of sanity.

It's going to be over by Friday, and they'll think they helped accomplish that. It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world.

I don't suppose they would listen if you tell them Canadian coins and bills can be laundered. No, really they can literally survive a tumble in the washing machine because they are a polymer not paper.

You should have seen the young-un at the 7-11 today. I placed my iced tea on the counter. He put an oversized plastic glove on his right hand. Used his ungloved left hand to enter the purchase into the cash register. Took my cash with his right gloved hand (gave him exact change) and placed it in the cash register. The mind boggles. He could have just spritzed both hands after the transaction.

What boggles me is that the distancing-washing period is slated to end on Apr 5 and the grocers are just getting started. Why did they bother, especially when they do it so poorly?

I have to take a bus uptown on Thurs. and the rules are that you enter by the back door so as to not infect the driver. There has to be an empty seat between each rider (that's not the required two metres), but they don't say how we are supposed to pay for the trip if we can't go near the driver.

There's only one bus I can take and it comes every 45 minutes, which will make me a half hour early for my appointment. Don't know what it will be like returning home. Worse comes to worst, I can walk, I guess.

If you can walk 4 miles, I should be able to walk a couple.

The streets were almost empty when I was out today (and I live near the downtown shopping area). A bit eerie, really.

This post was hilarious!

I read it aloud to my husband then showed him the picture of the Mrs. He said, "what's that stuck to her head?!" I said, "it's a 'fascinator', you pin it to your hair; the royals made it a thing at Kate's wedding." He stared at me. So I looked up photos of the royal wedding so he could see many women wearing them. He said, "I learn something new all the time."

Geez, I'll have to read it again, Gwen, because I sure need the laugh. I've been fuming inwardly since my visit to Food Basics yesterday. So today's post (Heroes in our Time) is an angry one, though I'm grateful that medical experts are expressing concern, finally.

You husband sounds wonderful! He's educatable. From my experience, that's rare in a husband. LOL
