Big-Daddy Government ...
more to be feared than a virus.
We think we're pretty big, don't we -- we who populate this globe -- especially those among us who struggle for wealth and power as if they were Life itself.
From space, however, we look like tiny bugs in a petrie dish -- small and petty and potentially just as lethal toward one another as any virus.
The more-ruthless bugs, the ones who openly seek power, feed on the smaller ones, striving endlessly for personal gain at their loss. They treat Mother Earth as if it were their own huge kindergarten and their constituents as if barely 6 years old. Like controlling, manipulative parents they promise dubious rewards for compliance with their aims -- and a callous use of fear of punishment as back-up incentive.
What's that old saying? "Big bugs have little bugs on their backs to bite 'em; Little bugs have littler bugs, and so ad infinitum."
Government compartments are constructed to house the most "useful" bugs -- openly aggressive types who place dominance above truth and morality; petty, secretive ones in competition with even their closest worker bugs. The term "petty bureaucrat" describes their demeanour, whether openly or in secret.
The very term "politician" is synonymous with "liar" and other similar pejoratives. The "successful" bugs are those who gain power over others and, whether elected or self-elected, know well the art of dissembling.
But they don't seem to know their own motives. They convince themselves they have the welfare of all the other bugs at heart, because, deep down, they know it would be wrong to harm them. So they refuse to examine their own motivations.
Bill Gates, for instance, clearly suffers from an unspoken wish to be bigger than his tall, wealthy, educated and prominent father, now deceased, but still larger than Bill's own life (see image at the bottom of this post). Don't take my word for it; consult a psychologist.
FarmWars: Who Put Bill Gates In Charge of the World?
Now where would little Billy get an idea like that? From Big Daddy, of course, and he's bent on outdoing that big guy, come hookery or crookery. Why? Well look at this, for instance:
You can't see the video clip because Google graciously deactivated it. But it was attested to in other credible places at the time, such as:
... which points to PBS as the source of the video, but good luck trying to find it there now.
Bill's dad "almost" treated him like an adult; but "almost" clearly was not good enough, so Bill went on to show his now-deceased parent how to really get things done.
And then there's George Soros, master of chaos, father of "colour revolutions", close financial and strategy advisor to Trudeau via Chrystia Freeland, more readily diagnosed, I would say, as justifiably angry at his father for having left him in a position where feigning ruthless Nazism was all that kept him alive -- and consequently ruthless. (If you can't beat 'em, join 'em? -- is that really the answer to a good life?)
Nobody really likes an oligarch, so they tend to stick together if they can. Their whole view of themselves can't afford to be truly tested. Another example would be Donald Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner: NPR
They all want to believe they have Mother Earth's best interests at heart, but any amateur psychiatrist can see that their heads are not screwed on straight. And, because like attracts like, they've managed to influence, and put into positions of power, many others devoid of souls, just like them, who are pleased to be noticed, who don't mind what our current day "Nazis" are doing, so long as it doesn't affect them personally -- and especially financially.
On the home front, we've got petty bureaucrats who genuflect to the powerful, and never actually make mistakes themselves. Instead they behave as if they're doing certain people a kindness by letting them keep the money they (mistakenly) gave them -- while neatly avoiding blow-back at themselves personally:

Devastated, self-directed businesses deserve assistance in light of these tortuous, on-again, off-again closings and (partial) openings!
While speaking of the National Post, why is it playing into the Covid drama, spreading even greater fear now than ever before?
Can you hear the danger music?
It seems people weren't frightened enough when it was earlier stated that prolonged contact was the real danger, as in one's own home or in "homes" for the elderly.
The CDC reportedly said last October that spending 15 minutes with someone infected with the virus over the course of a day is considered a "close contact" .
I guess they're counting on people not being aware that the flu bug has always -- for literal eons! -- altered itself every year (like a Microsoft virus) as bodies gain immunity to the older version -- and it's still just the flu bug, no matter what scary name opportunists choose to christen it with.
Scroll down to the Nat Post's handy graph and notice that Canada gets the UK version of the "mutated virus". That's because we speak English, eh? Those Brazilians and Africans, well, they couldn't possibly understand our predicament, eh?
Way to keep the fear levels high! Now easily frightened, shallow, TV-advert-boggled humans will be gasping behind 3-layer masks, glaring over them at their neighbours who dare to go maskless in public, or secretly feeling superior to those who don't wear the latest style of mask! The bright side of that, one can only hope, is that, at some point, they may start to realize they're being had -- in order to strengthen government control over all of the day-to-day, "normal" societal activities.
It's a big experiment. If they get away with this, they'll try something even more daring in the future. Eventually, we'll have to raise our hands for permission to use our own washroom.
Governments alone have clearly shown themselves to be more dangerous to human life than any virus, having wreaked havoc since forever, causing millions of deaths through the deliberate creation of foreign "enemies", enabling profiteers to make their own killing from the sales of weaponry, ignoring blithely the destruction of family life and the indelible warping of young minds.
Soon we won't be saying "governments" plural. It will just be government, a central one with satellites. With any luck, perhaps this could end wars, since we're all the same under the skin. I doubt it, though, because weapons -- and vaccines -- are huge money makers, and besides, it's only the "little people" who will suffer -- the ones who, in Gates' parlance, are the result of over-production anyway.
But go ahead, march to the piper, take your pittance, wear your multi-masks, snitch on your neighbours and pay no attention to that icky-sick feeling in the pit of your stomach which, in the long run, may well develop into a condition far worse than a flu virus that is proven to be only capable of harming the already weakened tiny percentage of overall populations (Canada currently: 0.05621 %) while, meanwhile, far more people die from other causes, with or without a fear campaign.
Especially now that the bought-and-paid-for media are upping the competition factor, turning it into something dangerous, glamorous, exciting -- and largely fictitious:
CBC: Vaccine wars: Nations race to win friends and influence through vaccine distribution
Most importantly, if you swallow the hype, do not look in the mirror -- you might see somebody there who doesn't exactly make you feel proud.

I'm alright, M.R. Thanks for asking. Not perfect by a long shot, but passing the days okay, hoping for an end to the often suffocating atmosphere. It's really good to hear from you. Glad you're hanging in, (and I know exactly what you mean by that and wanting to erase last year).
