Berlin and London United for Freedom

Hard to believe that Londoners once were forced to hide in shelters to avoid bombs from Berlin.

Now they are all trying to get out from under the tyranny of lockdown.

How can a law enforcer be taken seriously when his mask is down under his nose? (Above) He can't be. He looks a fool.

Ruptly (on YouTube) is live from Berlin today, Saturday, August 29, as protesters sceptical of the government's coronavirus measures gather for a rally.

Thousands had signed up to attend the rally against coronavirus measures before it was banned by city authorities over health concerns. This decision was later overturned by the city’s administrative court, which allowed the rally to go ahead under the condition that social distancing measures should be respected by participants.
A counter-protest by opposing groups is also expected to take place.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel originally announced a series of measures in March, in order to curb the spread of coronavirus. The measures have been gradually eased nationwide, however in the past weeks the number of new infections has significantly increased.

Reportedly, also on YouTube, several protestors were detained by Berlin police officers.

They don't just "say they are"; they are defending freedom as best they can.

Police ordered demonstrators to break up their march through central Berlin after many of the 18,000 participants refused to wear a mask or respect social-distancing rules, a police spokeswoman said. A rally scheduled for later this afternoon to protest against Germany’s coronavirus restrictions will still be allowed to go ahead as planned.

London:

God bless them for getting out there. I am really proud of them for making their voices heard.

On another note, I see the thought crime division at YouTube are standing on guard against covid heresy. So glad they are there to save us from misinformation and fake news. People might start asking questions.

Hi James: Let's hope the protestors back up their words with sustained action. I'm afraid to think what's going to happen when the kids are allowed to go back to school, but are trained to be anti-social -- wearing masks and distancing.

Hi James & Yaya,
Maybe one Australian man's outstanding courage will lift your spirits. I watched this yesterday and couldn't contain my fist pumps and clapping. It's Solihin Millin's initial police interview after being arrested for free speechifying and promoting peaceful defying. I love the part where he relates the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes" to that whipper-snapper of an officer. Viva the wisdom of senior ciizens.

I didn't have as much time as usual for the internet in the past week because we were helping a neighbour build a cement block wall to replace the crumbling foundations under an old house he's renovating. We haven't worked with cement blocks for almost 40 years. He was able to do the real heavy lifting but the guiding and assisting fell on our old shoulders. Anyway the wall is finished and we're having a brief respite before going back to our winter preparations.

Well, I'm thankful you found time to watch that video of Solihin Millin and let me know about it too. Must remember to look for Australian protests this coming Saturday.

I felt for him each time he had trouble remembering certain words. This happens to me too, and I get really ticked off when later, when it no longer matters, the word pops into my head unbidden.

He's glad to have been arrested. It turns out to be a real chance to say what's on his mind.

And he's right; those politicians and Public Health numbskulls are the scum of the earth and they should be arrested for their ignorance alone, let alone abdicating their duty to the people in favour of the big global drug pushers and their flying monkeys.
